Project Summary
The Little Scioto wetland mitigation bank was Wetlands Resource Center’s first project, and still operates today. The project restored wetland habitat on over 400 acres of corn and soybean fields. Today the project supports a large diversity of wetland vegetation and wetland dependant wildlife, including a nesting pair of Bald Eagles. The mitigation bank has supplied wetland credits to more than 50 individual projects in the Central Ohio area.
